精铸件是用各种锻造方法取得的金属成型物件。用浇注、压射、吸入或其它浇铸方法写入预先准备好的铸型中,冷却后经打磨等后续加工手法后,所得到具有肯定形状,精密铸造尺度和功能的物件。铸件使用历史悠久。古代大家用铸件作和一些日子用具。近代,铸件首要用作机器零部件的毛坯,有些精细铸件,也可直接用作机器的零部件。铸件在机械产品中占有很大的比重,如拖拉机中,铸件分量约占整机分量的5070%农业机械中占4070%机床、内燃机等中达7090%各类铸件中,机加工精密零件以机械用的铸件品种多,形状杂乱,用量也大,约占铸件总产值的60%其次是冶金用的钢锭模和工程用的管道、以及日子中的一些东西。
